A large number of people across the world are applying their knowledge of plant care to growing marijuana. The rising level of experimentation and interest in house plant cultivation can also be a reason why most people are turning towards marijuana. Growing marijuana is something that most people do in secrecy. Most people have the resources to grow marijuana but they are hesitant to take the help of someone whom they do not know or trust. For these people, here are some of the tips that can help them plant the tiny seeds of marijuana and see them grow before their eyes.
Growing a marijuana plant is not so difficult and requires a few steps and certain useful tips.

- The first important thing is to buy good quality marijuana seeds. After buying the seeds, plant them in moist soil. Scatter the seeds in moist paper towels or moist sponge. Do not make the towels wet. It may take only 24 hours for some seeds to germinate, while others may take several days to mature.
- Once the seed starts cracking and sprout appears, lay it on moist soil and add some more soil over the top of the moist soil.
- Soil is the primary medium that can help in the growth of marihuana soil. You can get soil from outside rather than taking it from your backyard as the soil you use should support the growth of marijuana.
- Drain the soil well and check the pH level in the soil. Mix some sand with the soil or you can also add pearlite or sponge rock. Add some humus in the soil to help it retain moisture and nutrients.
- Sterilize the container before you spread the soil in it for growing marijuana. You can use clay or a plastic container for planting marijuana seeds.
- While spraying fertilizers, make sure that you use it in appropriate quantity. Overdoes of fertilizers can cause harm to the roots. You do not need to feed your marijuana plant with fertilizers till the third week if you have prepared the soil well as most soil have nutrients to sustain the plant for several days. Do remember to increase the use of fertilizer gradually.
- Marijuana plants grow well when there is adequate sunlight. If your plantation area does not receive direct sunlight, you can use artificial lights for ensuring the proper growth of marijuana. Use fluorescent lights as they are considered the best for generating high yield of marijuana.
- Do check that there is proper ventilation. The leaves of the marijuana plant will get damaged in the absence of free movement of air and the poison will not evaporate if the pores of the leaves become clogged. For the plant to remain healthy, ensure that there is proper ventilation.
- Water the soil at regular intervals and spray water evenly to ensure that the soil lying even at the bottom of the pot remains moist. Pot you are using should have holes so excessive water is drained out as too much water can rot the marijuana plant.
Even if you are a beginner, you can grow marijuana successfully by following these simple tips. But be careful, marijuana stays a very addictive drug so if you use, use it prudently. It wouldn't be a first that someone who began growing marijuana ends up in a Marijuana treatment center.
